Scale
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted
- 4 small eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheese (optional)
- Chopped fresh herbs or red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Prepare Avocado: Scoop out a small amount of flesh from the center of each avocado half to create enough room for the egg. Place the avocado halves in the air fryer basket or a heat-safe dish that fits inside, ensuring they’re stable and upright.
- Add Eggs: Crack one egg into each avocado half. Adjust egg whites if necessary to prevent overflow. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Air Fry: Air fry for 10–14 minutes for desired yolk consistency. Add shredded cheese in the last 2 minutes if desired.
- Finish and Serve: Garnish with herbs or red pepper flakes upon removing from the air fryer. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use smaller eggs to prevent overflow.
- Prep avocado halves in ramekins or foil nests for stability.
- Enhance with bacon, salsa, or hot sauce for extra flavor.
