- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
- Prepare wet mixture: In another bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Combine ingredients: Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring to combine. Fold in diced apples and nuts, if using.
- Bake: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spread evenly, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden brown and set.
