- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Garnish:

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Make the sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, then add milk and cream. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Parmesan. Cook until creamy.
- Layer potatoes: Arrange half of the potatoes in the dish, pour half of the sauce, then repeat with the remaining potatoes and sauce.
- Add cheese: Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 25–30 minutes until golden and tender.
- Rest and serve: Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
