Crescent Rolls:

  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

Sausage Filling:

  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Additional:

  • 1 egg, beaten (optional, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease and transfer to a bowl.
  3. Prepare the filling: Stir in the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until well combined.
  4. Assemble: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll each one up toward the point, tucking the filling inside.
  5. Bake: Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Brush the tops with beaten egg if using. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
