Puff Pastry:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
Buffalo Chicken Filling:
- 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
- 1/4 cup Buffalo wing sauce
- 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Additional:
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2 tablespoons sliced green onions or crumbled blue cheese for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling: In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken with Buffalo sauce, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Roll out the pastry: On a lightly floured surface, unfold the puff pastry and roll it out slightly. Cut into 16 squares.
- Fill and fold: Place a spoonful of the Buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners into the center and pinch to seal.
- Bake: Place on the baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with green onions or blue cheese. Serve warm.
