Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Cut in butter: Cut in the cold cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add wet ingredients: Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until the dough comes together.
- Form biscuits: Roll the dough into balls, flatten, make an indentation, and add caramel.
- Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden.
- Cool and serve: Let cool on a wire rack, optionally sprinkle with sea salt.

- For a shortcut, use store-bought caramel sauce and drizzle over the biscuits after baking.
