These Cheddar Bay Biscuits are a delicious copycat version of the famous Red Lobster biscuits. They are fluffy, cheesy, and packed with garlicky flavor. Perfect as a side dish for any meal!

Dry Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Wet Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup buttermilk (plus more if needed)
Garlic Butter Topping:
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, garlic powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add butter and cheese: Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Fold in the shredded cheddar.
- Combine wet ingredients: Pour in the buttermilk and stir just until combined.
- Form and bake: Drop mounds of dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare topping and serve: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush the warm biscuits with the garlic butter topping and serve warm.
