Ingredients

Scale

For the ground beef filling:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

For the biscuit topping:

  • 1 package (11 oz) Cheddar Bay biscuit mix (such as Red Lobster brand)
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook ground beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Add garlic, then season with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce. Stir in vegetables, soup, and cheddar cheese.

  4. Prepare biscuit topping: In a bowl, mix biscuit mix, water, and cheese to form dough. Drop spoonfuls over the beef mixture.

  6. Top with garlic butter: Mix melted butter and garlic powder, then brush over the biscuits.
  7. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
