  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare dish: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare meatloaf layer: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Press mixture into the baking dish.
  3. Layer and bake: Spread cream of mushroom soup over the meat mixture, sprinkle half of the cheese, arrange tater tots on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
