- ¼ cup plus 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt Chocolate and Butter: Melt chocolate and butter together, then let cool slightly.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a small bowl.
- Beat Sugars and Eggs: In a large mixing bowl, beat granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until pale and thick.
