  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Other Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 4 cups napa or green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate Chicken: Toss chicken with cornstarch and soy sauce. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare Sauce: Mix remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  3. Cook Chicken: Stir-fry marinated chicken until browned. Set aside.
  4. Stir-Fry Vegetables: Sauté garlic and ginger, then add cabbage and carrot. Cook until tender-crisp.
  5. Combine: Return chicken to skillet, add stir-fry sauce, and cook briefly. Season with white pepper and salt.
  6. Finish: Add green onions, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
