Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Additional:
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Combine & Bake: Gradually stir in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips. Spread the dough in the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool & Serve: Let the bars cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top before baking for a sweet-salty twist.
