Description

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Additional:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Combine & Bake: Gradually stir in dry ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips. Spread the dough in the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Cool & Serve: Let the bars cool in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top before baking for a sweet-salty twist.
