- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup eggnog
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Glaze (Optional):
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp eggnog
- pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars, then add the egg, eggnog, and vanilla. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- Bake the cookies: Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10–12 minutes until set. Cool on a wire rack.
- Make the glaze: Mix powdered sugar, eggnog, and cinnamon until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
