Spaghetti:

  • 12 ounces spaghetti

Meat Sauce:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Additional:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti: Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the bacon and beef: In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Brown ground beef and onion in bacon grease. Drain excess fat.
