Pizza Dough:
- 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Birria Toppings:
- 1 cup birria beef (shredded, with a few tablespoons of its consommé)
- 1/2 cup birria consommé (for brushing)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Oaxaca or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon oil (for brushing crust)
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Heat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface, then transfer it to parchment paper.
- Add Toppings: Brush the dough with birria consommé, add cheeses, birria beef, and red onion.
- Bake: Slide the pizza onto the hot stone and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
