This Easy Hobo Casserole is a delicious one-dish meal that combines ground beef, sliced potatoes, creamy mushroom sauce, and cheddar cheese for a hearty and comforting dinner option.

Ground Beef Mixture:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped

Potato Layer:

  • 3 cups thinly sliced potatoes (about 3 medium potatoes)

Soup Mixture:

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Prepare Soup Mixture: Mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
