Main Meatloaf:

- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or panko)

- 2 Tbsp Italian parsley (fresh or dried)
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Topping:
- 2 Tbsp ketchup or tomato sauce for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the ketchup. Mix until just blended, avoiding overmixing.
- Shape and Bake: Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan or on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Smooth the top and spread ketchup over the surface if desired. Bake for 45–55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest and Serve: Let the meatloaf rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
