- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt

Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until well combined. Stir in the mashed banana.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Bake: Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are set.
- Cool and glaze: Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack. While the cookies cool, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make a smooth glaze. Drizzle or spread the glaze over the cooled cookies. Let the glaze set before storing.
