Glaze:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare Dough: Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine with warm milk, sugar, butter, egg, salt. Add flour, knead, and let rise.
- Shape Doughnuts: Roll out dough, cut into shapes, and let rise again.
- Fry Doughnuts: Heat oil, fry doughnuts until golden brown.
- Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Dip warm doughnuts in glaze.
- Serve: Allow excess glaze to drip off and serve warm.
Notes
- For chocolate glaze, replace half the powdered sugar with cocoa powder and adjust milk for consistency.
