  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Hot Honey Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Pat dry chicken breasts, rub with olive oil, season with spices, and place in the baking dish.
  3. Bake the Chicken: Bake for 20–25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. Make the Hot Honey Sauce: Combine honey, hot sauce, vinegar, and pepper flakes in a saucepan, warm but do not boil.
  5. Glaze the Chicken: Spoon the hot honey sauce over the chicken and bake for an additional 3–5 minutes.
  6. Rest and Serve: Let the chicken rest, spoon extra sauce over it, and garnish before serving.
