- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Hot Honey Sauce:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish.
- Prepare the Chicken: Pat dry chicken breasts, rub with olive oil, season with spices, and place in the baking dish.
- Bake the Chicken: Bake for 20–25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Make the Hot Honey Sauce: Combine honey, hot sauce, vinegar, and pepper flakes in a saucepan, warm but do not boil.
- Glaze the Chicken: Spoon the hot honey sauce over the chicken and bake for an additional 3–5 minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Let the chicken rest, spoon extra sauce over it, and garnish before serving.

- Serve with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or a green salad.
- Adjust the heat level to your preference by varying the hot sauce and pepper flakes.
