Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: Combine chicken pieces with buttermilk and hot sauce. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Coating: Whisk together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Fry the Chicken: Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through.
- Make the Sauce: Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard for a sandwich sauce.
- Assemble the Sandwiches: Spread the sauce on buns, layer with chicken, pickles, and lettuce. Serve hot.
