Description

These No-Bake Orange Creamsicle Truffles are a delightful treat that captures the essence of a classic creamsicle in a bite-sized form. Creamy, citrusy, and coated in white chocolate, they are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Cream Cheese Mixture:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange extract (optional)

Truffle Filling:

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafer cookies or golden Oreos

Additional:

  • Powdered sugar for rolling (optional)
  • Extra melted white chocolate or orange candy melts for drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the melted white chocolate, orange zest, and orange extract (if using) until fully combined.
  2. Fold in the crushed vanilla wafers until a soft, scoopable dough forms. Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until firm enough to shape.
  3. Once chilled, scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If desired, roll the truffles in powdered sugar or drizzle with melted white chocolate or orange candy melts.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to set.

Notes

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • For a festive look, top with orange sprinkles or zest.
  • These also freeze well for up to 2 months.
