  • 12 ounces fettuccine or linguine

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1½ tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Garnish:

  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: In a large deep skillet or pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Make Sauce: Stir in heavy cream and gochujang until smooth. Add uncooked pasta, simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Add Cheese and Seasonings: Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss until creamy.
