Description

For Coating and Frying:

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the Potato Cheese Mixture: In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape and Freeze: Form the mixture into stick-like logs, freeze for 20–30 minutes on a baking sheet.
  3. Prepare the Breading Station: Set up three bowls with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat the Sticks: Dip each stick in flour, then egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry the Sticks: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry sticks in batches for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
