Description

Brownie Batter:

  • 1 box (18 oz) brownie mix plus ingredients listed on the package

Pumpkin Swirl:

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare brownie batter: Mix brownie batter according to package directions and pour 3/4 into the pan.
  3. Make pumpkin swirl: In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, spices until smooth. Spoon over brownie batter.
  4. Layer and swirl: Add remaining brownie batter on top. Swirl layers together with a knife for a marbled effect.
  5. Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out with few moist crumbs.
  6. Cool and slice: Cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For a more chocolatey version, add chocolate chips on top before baking.
