Pasta:
- 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
Seafood:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 salmon fillets (skin removed, cut into chunks)
- ½ pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Extra Parmesan for serving
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Prepare pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.
- Sear the Salmon: In a skillet, sear seasoned salmon chunks until golden. Remove from the pan.
- Cook the Shrimp: Cook shrimp until pink and opaque. Set aside with the salmon.
- Make the Sauce: Sauté garlic, then add cream and broth. Simmer, then add cheese, lemon, spices. Return seafood and pasta to the pan.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Serve hot.
