Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
Sauce and Pasta:
- 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 ½ cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Optional:
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Add Vegetables: Add the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Make Sauce: Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, black pepper, and paprika. Simmer.
- Cook Pasta: Add the uncooked macaroni, cover, and cook on low heat for 15–18 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Finish and Serve: Stir in cheese if using. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
