This dish features tender chicken coated in a flavorful Parmesan crust, topped with a creamy garlic sauce with a kick of heat. Perfect for a family-friendly meal any day of the week!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken Fillets:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or fillets (pounded to even thickness)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • oil for frying or air frying

For the Spicy Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

For the Fries:

  • 1 1/2 lbs russet potatoes (cut into fries)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fries: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy. (Alternatively, air fry at 400°F for 18–20 minutes.)
  2. Prepare the Chicken Fillets: Set up a dredging station: one bowl with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko mixed with Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge each chicken fillet in flour, then egg, then the panko-Parmesan mixture, pressing to coat well. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/74°C internal temp). Drain on paper towels. (Or air fry at 400°F for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway.)
  3. Make the Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in cream, Parmesan, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Assemble: Drizzle the spicy creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over the crispy chicken fillets. Serve immediately with hot fries on the side.

Notes

  • Add fresh parsley or more Parmesan on top for extra flavor.
  • Serve with a side salad for balance or sandwich-style in a toasted bun with lettuce and tomato.
