Potatoes:
- 2 1/2 pounds russet or Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
Garlic:

- 3/4 cup heavy cream, warmed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, plus more to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Boil Potatoes: Place the potatoes and garlic in a pot, cover with water, add salt, and boil until tender.
- Drain and Mash: Drain the potatoes and garlic, return to pot, mash with butter, then mix in warm heavy cream and sour cream.
- Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper, transfer to a bowl, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
