Spaghetti:
- 8 ounces spaghetti
Meat Sauce:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tablespoons homemade)
- ½ cup water
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup frozen corn (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Additional:
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- Chopped fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Meat Sauce: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Add taco seasoning, water, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and corn. Simmer, then stir in sour cream.
- Combine Ingredients: Toss cooked spaghetti with meat sauce. Transfer to a baking dish.
- Add Cheese and Bake: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with cilantro or green onions. Serve warm.
