White Chocolate Mousse:

  • 6 oz white chocolate (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Optional: white chocolate shavings or berries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt White Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, combine chopped white chocolate and milk. Melt gently over a double boiler or in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and let it cool slightly.
  2. Whip Cream: In a separate mixing bowl, beat cold heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar until medium-stiff peaks form.
  3. Combine: Gently fold about 1/3 of the whipped cream into the cooled white chocolate to lighten it. Then fold in the remaining whipped cream until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Chill: Spoon or pipe the mousse into serving glasses or bowls. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish with white chocolate shavings or fresh berries if desired.
